Pigeon Forge in Every Season: When to Visit
What each season in Pigeon Forge is good for, from Dollywood festivals to snow tubing at Ober Mountain.
Pigeon Forge is a year-round destination. Here's what each season is good for, based on what our guests love.
SPRING
• Waterfall hikes and wildflowers in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, about 20 minutes away. Remember your parking tag.
• Dollywood's seasonal festivals start up, about 10 minutes from our condos.
SUMMER
• Dollywood's Splash Country: slides, a lazy river and a wave pool (seasonal).
• Evenings at The Island in Pigeon Forge, with fountain shows and the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel.
• Summer weeks are busy, so book early and plan around late-afternoon Parkway traffic.
FALL
• Mountain views at their best from the ridges. Anakeesta's treetop skywalks in Gatlinburg are a favorite.
• Dollywood's seasonal festivals continue into the fall.
WINTER
• Ober Mountain in Gatlinburg: aerial tramway, snow tubing, ice skating and skiing in season.
• Indoor days at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, WonderWorks and the Titanic Museum Attraction.
• Dinner shows like Dolly Parton's Stampede.
Whatever the season, our 3-bedroom, 2-bath condos at 124 Plaza Dr keep you close to all of it. Book direct for live nightly rates with no booking-site fees.
